About Tie Breaking Rule For NEET
There is a rule regarding tie-breaking. If two or more candidates get the same marks then the tie-breaking rule will be used. But, candidates cannot share the same NEET rank. So, NTA has used a tie-breaking system in such a situation.
- Candidates with higher marks in Biology will get a higher rank
- If the marks in Biology are the same, then the marks in Chemistry will be considered.
- If marks in Biology and Chemistry are equal, then the candidate who got a lesser number of incorrect answers will get a greater rank.
