NEET all India counseling 2021 will begin within a few days. UG NEET Counselling forms a vital part in MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS admission. Counselling for MBBS 2021 is a matter of tension for aspiring students. In this article, we will talk about the all-India MBBS counselling 2021. 

NEET All India Counselling 2021 Details

NEET counseling dates have not yet been declared by NTA. But, we can expect the counseling to begin from the 2nd week of October. The Directorate General of Health Science on behalf of the Medical Counseling Committee(MCC) will start UG Counselling 2021 tentatively in the first half of October. This is related to the AIIMS and JIPMER. 

Eligibility Criteria For NEET Counselling 2021 

Eligibility Criteria for NEET counseling is:

  • Candidates with minimum 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45th percentile for general-physically handicapped) in National Eligibility Test will be eligible.
  • Only NEET qualified candidates are eligible to attend the NEET counseling 
  • Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir will not be eligible to participate in the All India NEET Counseling unless they give their assent. The ministry releases a list of qualified candidates under AIQ excluding candidates from Jammu and Kashmir. 
  • Candidates must register themselves for NEET 2021 counseling
  • Counseling who have qualified for NEET are eligible to participate in the AIQ counseling for deemed universities.

Eligibility Criteria For Central Universities

Delhi University(MAMC, LHMC, UCMS): Only 15% of the seats have the affiliation of the Delhi University. The rest of the seats(85%) will be filled through DU NEET 2021 counseling process. Candidates passing from a school in Delhi will be eligible to apply for 85% of the seats.

Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Milia Islamia: Out of 50 seats 47 will be filled through the MCC NEET counseling. The students who have passed from JMI will get the opportunity for these 3 seats. 

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU): AMU reserves 50% seats for the candidates who have passed from AMU. The remaining seats will be filled through MCC. 

BHU(Banaras Hindu University): Candidates fulfilling the basic eligibility criteria for MCC will be eligible to apply for the seats at BHU. 

NEET UG Counselling Process

Candidates who qualify for NEET 2021 and want to participate in the counselling process have to register online on the official website of MCC. The process of counselling for MBBS 2021 is in detail below:

  • Candidates need to register on the official website of MCC – that is www.mcc.nic.in
  • Candidates need to fill in details such as their name, registration number, personal details, academic details, and the details mentioned on their NEET result

    • Candidates have to register for the process of counseling.
    • After you complete the process, you will get to see a choice filling option.
    • You will find a list of participating colleges. 
    • According to your preferences, you have to select colleges.
    • After the choice filling, you have to submit the form.

      • Go to the official website of MCC and log in to it using your credentials.
      • Click on the ‘’modify selected Options’.
      • The choice filling section will be open.
      • Make the changes according to your preferences.
